Ashlyn, recently married to Jesse Abels, serves as the Director of Communications for Central Africa Baptist University in Kitwe, Zambia. The mission of CABU is to see God glorified through healthy, reproducing churches planted in every village, town, and city across Africa. CABU equips theologically trained African leaders for the African church. In her ministry,
Ashlyn facilitates this mission by leading the university’s communication efforts in Africa and the USA. She recruits key leaders for training, empowers the CABU team in their roles, and networks with ministry partners.
