The faith we received fully and finally from the Apostles is articulated in the Scripture. Everything we know about God, Christ, and the gospel is presented to us in the Bible. How we are to live productive lives that please Christ and advance His Church is described for us in the pages of God’s Word. In other words, the Word of God is essential to everything we are; all that we believe; what we do; and how we live. Last week we began a brief survey of the Five Solas that undergird our faith as evangelical believers. This Sunday we continue our series by looking at how we should respond to the first of those truths, the authority of Scripture.

Nov 10 | Moving Sunday!
This Sunday after Equip Hour we need help moving chairs and other equipment over to the auditorium. The process should only take about an hour. We look forward to worshiping in our new space on Sunday, November 17!
Nov 17-24 | OCC Drop Off Week!
Be sure to pick up a shoebox at the back of the gym this Sunday before you leave! Fill it and return the following Sunday, or throughout drop-off week.
We need helpers to receive shoebox deliveries from other churches throughout the week. Please click here to sign up for a time slot!

Dec 14-15 | Christmas Program
Our Christmas Program, “Exceeding Great Joy”, takes place at 6 PM on both Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15. Mark your calendars and be sure to invite others for a time of worshipful celebration to our Savior!
We still have space available for anyone wishing to sing with us. It’s not too late to join! Practices are from 4:30-6 PM each Sunday in the choir room.
Instrumentalists needed!
If you’re skilled at playing a band or orchestra instrument, we need YOU in our orchestra to accompany the Christmas Choir on both evenings. Cookies Needed for Christmas Program Fellowship

Police Substation at PBC!
We’re so grateful for our local law enforcement officers! They’re in need of a safe place to do paperwork, eat a meal, and rest, so we’re renovating a small room into a substation for their use. Please view this video for more information!
We’re excited to report that donations have begun coming in for this project, and several of the items are now covered! To give toward our goal, simply designate “substation” in your online giving or check memo.
Part-Time Cleaning Assistants Needed!
We are seeking several part-time custodians to assist our current custodial staff with cleaning the facility. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, and other custodial tasks as required. Hours are flexible.
Hymnbooks and Bibles Available
We have stacks of Welcome hymnals available for those who would like one as a keepsake. These would also good for craft projects. You can find the hymnals, as well as some used Bibles, on the table across from the Hub in the main building.
