November 17 – Beyond Thankful
Sunday was a sweet and glorious day for Palmetto Baptist Church. God, in his great mercy, allowed us to worship together in a fully renovated auditorium. It is a beautiful new church home for a united congregation and a tangible answer to decades of prayer.
On April 7, 2024, two congregations came together because we believe we can do more together for the gospel than we can do apart. For over 150 years combined, these congregations have been ministering to the Welcome and Powdersville communities. God remains faithful, and now we get to continue the ministry together for decades to come.
Psalm 100 calls us to enter God’s gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
We want to thank all the contractors, engineers, volunteers, pastors, and church staff who have poured hours into this project. We are thankful beyond words.
